Burger King has suspended operations at two franchise restaurants in Vladivostok after videos filmed inside one of their kitchens circulated widely on social media, the company’s Russian unit announced via Telegram.

Footage reportedly taken at a central branch on Semyonovskaya Street showed a kitchen worker displaying a contraceptive placed on a prep table directly beside food orders, while a second clip depicted staff kicking a soccer ball inside the food preparation area.

Burger King characterized the behavior as unacceptable and a direct breach of corporate safety, hygiene, and quality standards. The company stated it has initiated legal proceedings to hold the franchisee accountable and permanently terminate its operating license under the Burger King brand, confirming it will not resume ties with the partner.
