'Fascinating image' could prove that Russia is developing secret warplanes in UFO hotspot

A perfect line of six beaming red lights spotted in clear night sky have left villagers baffled.

The photo, uploaded to Instagram by user Nikolajno, shows a formation of unexplained red dots found at different locations in the Omsk region of Russia – an area notorious of UFO sightings.

Now the MoD's former UFO expert has raised the possibility that Russia could be developing SECRET prototype weaponry.

It comes just days after RAF Typhoon jets were scrambled after Russian Bear bombers were found heading towards British airspace.

The bombers did not enter British airspace and were escorted away.

Nick Pope, who used to run the MoD's UFO project, said: "This is a fascinating image.

"It could be a fireball or a meteor breaking up in the atmosphere, or some sort of exotic atmospheric plasma phenomenon.

"It would be interesting to learn if the Russians tracked this on radar.

"The area concerned is a UFO hotspot, so another possibility is that this is an area where the Russians are testing secret prototype aircraft, drones or weaponry."

Earlier this month Typhoons from Lossiemouth intercepted bombers flying near UK airspace hours after HMS Argyll was deployed to monitor a destroyer and two other ships from the country as they passed through the English channel.

Relations between Russia and the West are at their lowest point since the Cold War.

For years the internet has been hot with discussion over UFOs spotted above the Omsk region.

A report in the Russian news publication Pravda explained how strange glowing lights in the Siberian city were a result of space rockets separating over sparsely populated areas.

Just last month, the most conclusive evidence to date that aliens DO excist were unveiled in the form of unseen photos from the 1947 Roswell UFO crash.
